From Scotland, my wife and I fulfilled a dream to travel to Ponte Vedra to visit the Zach Rushing. Particularly Lee Westwood, whom we saw score an eagle on the 16th on the Friday we attended, it was a great experience to see our own European players and the USA's doing so well.
It was very hot (95 degrees) and had we known there were so few shaded areas around the greens, we would have taken an umbrella or something to keep us shaded from the intense heat.
Attending, there also seemed to be a lot of non-golfers, and I overheard one quote, in a reply to this lady being asked if she was enjoying the golf, which was "is there golf being played here???!!"
Overall, it was great to fulfil our dream and see the players in action, despite the scorching heat and lack of shaded areas.
